Statistics show more people visit Jeju Volcani Island--a UNESCO Global Geopark and a World Natural Heritage Site--than Hawaii. Unlike islands with active volcanoes, this volcanic island has been dormant for over a thousand year, transforming itself into a virtual paradise. Fortunately, the local authorities and residents have recognized its value and managed to preserve its prestine beauty despite continued attempts of human exploitation.

It was during the days of Covid Pendemic, the film crews of Digital Mirage Entertainment discovered the "hidden" beauty of this island through their aerial cameras. Unlike vastly large national parks in other parts of the world, most of the national parks on this island are located amid residential areas, allowing the film crew to capture the beauty of many of such parks from outside the park. What they discovered were stunning views that people never knew were there for thousands of years. May this be an inspiring story to other national park services around the globe to document their parks from mid air.
